What is the primary function of this pier, BobbieZen? I’m guessing people just fish from it, though it’s a bit high for that. Wonder if cars are permitted to drive on it? Neat shot.

ᙅYᙖᙓᖇ ᗪOᙅ™ It’s a fishing pier that has been rebuilt a few times after hurricanes have taken out portions of it …the last one was when a middle portion was taken out in 2005.
Although it looks as though a car might fit I’ve never seen a moving vehicle on it…lots of walkers, though!
Sadly it was used as a lookout the week we were there as there was a fatality just a few days before the shot was taken. A young couple went out swimming around 4 AM and the 28-year-old male who had been the best man at a wedding never returned after being caught in a rip current.
