“He looked out of the window to think, because without a window he couldn’t think. Or maybe it was the other way around: When there was a window, he automatically started to think. Then he wrote, “When I grow up, I am going to be happy.”
― Guus Kuijer, The Book of Everything
What I’m learning, is that other than identifying with the Nurse, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, all those labels I’ve allowed to define me for my entire life…other than these, I’m still a 13-year-old girl in a 50-something year old body…I’m a work in progress, a survivor, a tender heart, a tough negotiator, a music appreciator, an experimental cook, a peace-keeper, a book lover, a wine taster, an amateur photographer, a problem solver, a family historian, and so much more.
Conservative Libertarian Bohemian Revolutionary is my ‘tagline’, but those who understand me, understand this means: I loathe labels, and remain un-defined.
