Chocolate Sour Cream Cake, by Hans the Drummer!
I have a wonderfully vast variety of friends…no matter what walks of life they come from, we all have one thing in common. We Eat. We love our food. And, when we’re lucky we find those culinary cousins who don’t mind sharing their recipes with us. This amazing chocolate sour cream cake came from my friend Hans, who, incidentally, is a fantastic drummer who has played with countless greats from the 70’s on up to current day. He’s also the one who taught me, quite skillfully, to bake SourDough bread. We were talking one day about favorite desserts, and I recalled a Sour Cream Pound Cake my Grannie used to make that was out of this world, however, the recipe had been lost over the years. Hans came to my rescue with this Chocolate Version, and it is one of my favorites! The following is his recipe, written by his own musical hand. 🙂 You gotta love a Drummer!!!
