I’m grateful for reminders of good times and I’m grateful for friends who have lasted for decades …still in touch with this dude (and this dress). I posted this on Facebook 2 years ago…a mini blast from my past 32 years ago.

“So, this was my first “Grown Up Dress” Mama bought it for me when I was 21, for a Sigma Chi Formal I went to in St. Louis with my old friend Dan. I’ve held onto this dress for 30 years… and my daughter even wore it for Halloween when she was a teenager. On a whim, I tried it on today. I still LOVE this dress.”
You are like a fine wine……;)

I still want to know where the Fountain of Youth is, Bobbie. I know you found it! You were lovely then and you’re lovelier now. ๐

….and I’m grateful for women who get more beautiful with age while having an aura of class that can’t be had at a young age. You’re truly a knockout on paper and I’m sure you’re every bit as stunning in conversation. Memories are great but your upward trajectory should have you very proud and optimistic.
