  1. My books, records, and movies are my favorite things I own. Well, and also my iPod, but I own everything on it; I had my hands on it all first, I mean. It didn’t just appear from nowhere. But I’m just like that. I have a food processor, yet am more likely to use the mortar and pestle or cutting board and knife. As I grow older, I want to do more hands-on stuff rather than less. Still love my Kindle, anyway, though. It’s a zillion books I can read in the dark or anywhere I like.

  2. As you might imagine BobbieZen, there is no shortage of hard copies of music and books and art here. I’m not sure how many times we’ve passed the point of diminishing returns on books – at least twice though.
